Participation in the Goldschmidt Conference 2025 in Prague
The international Goldschmidt Conference took place in Prague from 6 to 13 July 2025 and was organised by the European Association for Geochemistry and the Geochemical Society. Ulrike Moser had the opportunity to present her research work carried out as part of her doctoral thesis.
In her presentation entitled ‘Geochemical Dynamics and Anthropogenic Impacts on the Mur River Catchment: Insights from pH-Dependent Element Leaching of Sediment and 87Sr/86Sr Isotope Analysis of the Water Phase’, she provided insights into the geochemical processes and human influences in the Mur catchment area. The focus was on the results of ⁸⁷Sr/⁸⁶Sr isotope analyses of water samples using multi-collector ICP-MS as well as on pH depending leaching experiments on sediments.
The exchange with leading researchers and the open dialogue with international students made the conference a particularly enriching experience. The contribution can be found here
