7 – 8 April 2022

On April 7 and 8, the kick-off meeting of the MURmap project consortium was held at the Geological Survey of Slovenia in Ljubljana. On Thursday, April 7, the project leader from the Slovenian side briefly introduced the project and its tasks. The project consortium set the approximate dates for the sampling campaigns and agreed on the exact sampling and analytical methods. The equipment was also tested on the field later that day. On Friday, the participants discussed other issues crucial for the proper implementation of the project, and the anticipated results of the preliminary sampling campaign were also discussed. Finally, the team visited the GeoZS laboratories and saw equipment which will be used in the project.
